My uncle owned a Porsche (I believe it was a 912), back in the 60's. He lived in a suburb on the north side of Chicago. I think he owned his Porsche for about 2 years, then got rid of it. I remember growing up and hearing my uncle's Porsche stories. How expensive the maintenance was. How noisy the car was. How bad the heater was. No air conditioning, etc! My dad was a Buick man and he would comment about how nice our Buicks were and how he couldn't understand what my uncle saw in his Porsche.

I find it very interesting that the 1973 Porsche 911 RS holds its relevance in today's modern driving world. So much so that the Porsche 911 RS can be found in modern video games.
